It is in the times of not seeing, but trusting in God, that God works the most powerful in our lives, I call it the unawares of God. The unawares, can be times when the enemy comes in like a flood, and the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him while we are unaware of it. The standard is called Not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord. Zach 4:6

Theophany is when God or an angel appears to man. Theophany, from the Ancient Greek (ἡ) θεοφάνεια ( theophaneia , meaning "appearance of god"), refers to the appearance of a deity to a human.

It is at Bethel or Luz that Jacob has the dream of the ladder set up on the earth, where the top of it reached to heaven and the angels were ascending and descending on it and where the Lord stood over and beside him. At Bethel, God spoke to Jacob that He would never leave him, until He has done that which He has spoken to him of him.

The company of angels goes with Jacob unaware. Twenty years they are with Jacob as he serves Laban, protecting him from the wild beast and saving him from the drought and the frost by night. Jacob, unaware of the angels and protection of Gods promise, as it can be in our own lives as life circumstances try to change our wages and the promises of God.

Gen 31:39-41.

The Unseen future

So it is with many of us, Jacob is at the point that he is fleeing from Laban, (his present circumstances) and (that which are the dangers of his past), Esau waiting for Him, Present and past, producing a critical or disastrous situation created by a powerful concurrence of factors - a perfect storm, called the unseen future.

At our Mahanaim, (two camps becoming one), the company of angels look into our dispensation of time and the angelic realm and natural coincides together to accomplish Gods propose in Jacobs life and ours. Gen 32:1-2

It is said that God moves in mysterious ways and He seems to move at our darkest time of night. The darkest time of our night seems to be the time of great inner turmoil as we face the unknowns in our lives and can be the greatest wrestling with God.

Our Mahanaim (camp), becomes the company of angels, where we wrestle with God and lay hold of Him until we get the conformation in our spirit that changes our attitudes as we lay hold of the words of God in our spirit, I will never leave you until I have accomplished that which I have spoken to you of you.

It is here that we come to the realization that God is with us not only in our present circumstance but He will be with us through out our whole life, just as Jacob when he at the end of his life reached out his hand to bless his children's children the blessing of God that was on his life.

God spoke to me saying this will be a year for many, called the company of angels. Mahanaim, two camps becoming one. God will be opening the eyes of many to see the angelic realm (angels protecting and working) looking into their situations and confirming the words of God over their lives. Many will be entertaining angels and God through tangible manifestations of their presence. The promises of God spoken to many in yesteryear's will be revitalized and come into fruition. Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Pr 13:12
